Please do not faint at the fact that I am blogging. I am supposed to be taking a psychology test but I decided to wait till this evening or until after Shane got home so I would not be distracted by his arrival. I might get a kiss ya know. Although I probably won't be able to feel it for the numbness of my lips due to 3 more cavities filled today. Yehhhhh.... I am all finished with these crazy fillings. I was under the assumption that I only had 3 cavities. The dentist failed to inform his paying customer that she had 7. Grrrrr.... now I don't have to go back till my cleaning.
I only had one filling in my 30 years of life. Now I all of a sudden have 7 cavities. I have come to the realization that it is from all this southern sweet tea. Up north we didn't drink sugar in our tea. Now, you all have got me hooked on sweet tea. Bad habit let me tell ya. My hubby doesn't even drink tea, so I do not make it. But, McDonald's had the best sweet tea. And Tiffany!!!
Well our foster child shygirl has made it back to her family. I am sad, but happy all in one breath. The last month and a half was very good. We had good times. She had mixed emotions about going back, but our home is back to normal. As normal as you can call us. We are on the go so much. Ball game here, ball game there, church, school, Little Man's school functions, and such. Wow. My parents were amazed at our schedule. They live slow paced compared to us.
We didn't a whole lot of activities while ma and pa were here. We did go shopping and out to eat, and to a ball game. They kind of lived our lifestyle with us the week they were here. They did relax a couple of mornings that we were at our jobs and school, but that's it. Dad helped tremendously around here. Fixed a knob on T's dresser, mowed the grass, fixed T's light fixture that was pulled a little too hard. Hmm.. let's see what else. Dad played alot of ball with T. Little T and Dad both had a good time. Was good for both. They got to bond a little. It won't be long till we'll be headed to the great state of Indiana.
I was kind of dissapointed. Ma said Nate, my brother, won't have the kids. T was bummed. Ma had planned to go to the zoo, and fun stuff with all the kids. We'll have to go a different route.
Well, my mouth is unnumbing now, so I think I'll drink this Diet Mt Dew. Mmmmm the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk at ya later, and I promise I won't stay away as long.
