Here I am again!

Went to Kman's birthday party. He was so cute just staring at the cake while everyone was off playing. We had a nice time except for controlling our children at times. Why mine, Lord?

I must have told my two to stop that, quit this, look what you are doing, be careful a zillion times. Am I too protective?!! I want them to learn to behave. Torry has deliberately several times been mean to ET just because.

We got ready to leave the park and ET refused to come down the slide so we could go. Shane tried several attempts, but to no avail. We were the last ones to leave the park. GRRRRR!!

Am I too protective?!! I mean I look over and TSG who is 9 picked up a balloon and was seconds from putting it up to his mouth. HELLO.. discusting.

Well, aside from all the correcting, it was fun.

I come home and had to do laundry, vacuum, and I think I am getting ready to get a meatloaf together for tomorrow evening.

I need to start getting ready for ET birthday. It's coming up in a couple weeks.

Shygirl called Shane's cell phone tonight. We were shocked. She wants to come over and visit or spend the night. That was nice. I hope she does.

Well, I am gonna get off here and make the meatloaf. My hubby is doing what he does best, talking on the cell.

Defineably Crazy!!

I believe Shane and I are a little on the crazy side. Torry went around asking every boy at the picnic today to come to our house. I overheard Zack asking Bro. Ken, then Bro. Scott mentioned it to Shane if Randy could come over, then I heard Torry asking Tyler to come over. I'm so glad Torry asked his parents before asking all the boys and their parents. Grrr... I don't mind that he has friends over at all, but please inform your mama first. So, 2 of the 3 are gonna be here tonight. Shane has homework, plus 2 messages to study for tomorrow. I am in the process of laundry (which has definitely increased since our family increased).

I think we'll do frozen pizzas for the boys tonight. Anyone else wanna come? Don't think I'm complaining. I enjoy my boys enjoying themselves. They had a blast at the church picnic today. I on the other hand was a tad bit aggravated if anyone noticed. Shane was being silly pouring water on another individual. Well, I think I'll be silly and get a cup of ice cold water. Well, in the process of him freezing, he steps on my foot, I lose my balance and this big 'ole girl does a dive on the concrete. Not only does my foot hurt, my knees and my hands where I attempted to catch myself. Not to mention the embarrasment of this big girl falling. I bet there was plenty a laughin'. I was quite aggravated at my hubby cause he didn't seem to care enough like I thought he should. Well, I'm fine, but sore and he did apologize for the incident. It wasn't all his fault, but I was embarrased and hurt at the time. Men!! You gotta love 'em!!! I do love my husband y'all!! He got up and washed our sheets this morning!! Wow!! He was trying to earn brownie points, but he said he lost 'em at the picnic. Bless him. He did take the boys while I was at CPR this morning. Everyone was teasing cause we drove 2 cars. Bro. Ken said he had a slot opened up next week for counseling since we drove seperate vehicles.

Well, I need to check the laundry and get some caffeine for this headache that thinks it wants to come on me tonight.

Have a good evening!!

Life in the fast lane still

Wow we have finished supper, homework, reading, bedtime snack, pj time before 8:00. The boys have been very good. For those of you who don't know we now have a little boy who is almost 5 in our home(ET phone home). ET is somewhat of a challenge. Doesn't feel he has to listen the first, second or third time. Maybe not even the 8th or 9th time. Wow!! God must know what I can deal with, because at times I don't think I can go another mile. We had a ten month old little boy in our home for almost 2 months. He stole all of our hearts fast, but he went to live with another couple that was getting their license to get him. It was the hardest thing besides moving from IN to NC that I have ever done. Wow. We saw him at the Morganton Festival Friday night. That was a killer for me. Saturday I just wanted to lay in my bed all day. My hubby advised me that it was best for us just to keep on truckin'. If we sat at home and dwelled on it, the devil had more room to slip in.

I had the boys by myself at church yesterday from 4:30 on. They were very good. ET had a slight incident, but for the most part I was impressed.

I have them on Monday eves while hubby at work. It sometimes is tough, but tonight, thank the Lord, they have been wonderful.

I am so excited for my parents to come down at the first of the month. That means I need to get to doing some nitty gritty cleaning.

We finally put all the baby stuff in the shed, and I dispursed the borrowed items to their proper places. Thank the Lord for the church family that helped out when we had nothing. We found a nice high chair at a yard sale, and I got several big toys at a yard sale for little tikes. They are all put away now for future use, maybe.

Ya know, mothering is the hardest thing I have ever done. Any advice, I'm all ears. Patience is the key, and that gets a little thin when I have to repeat and repeat. GRRRR!!! Lord love 'em!!

Well, my hubby is almost home and I need to get the boys simmering down before BED. Thankfully they don't fight sleep.
