Monday Madness

The title will speak for itself today. We kept Big Bill's daughter for the night cause he had a school conference somewhere. Shane had to get up to take her to school. I got Little Man up and ready cause Shane had terrible kidney stone achage, if that's a word. Anyway, one I got to school, Little Man's teacher called and said he had no medicine. Ugghhh. Knowing Shane did not feel good, I knew I would have to run all the way back home on my lunch and get his med. Bless Shane's heart, he ran the med to me. He ended up going to work, but ended up having to go the doc to verify if he had kidney stones or not. So, he come home early tonight. It was so nice. I worked with Little man on homework and realized that he didn't have his spelling words. So, I get on the horn and call his teacher. I felt like a fool, cause I found the words at the bottom of his book bag. GRRRR, they don't belong there. Momihood is not an easy job. All I've got done tonight is supper, homework (not mine), and laundry. The dryer is still going and the washer is full still at 10:15 pm. Tomorrow Little man has a field trip and Wednesday is pix day. Busy week.

I am so thankful for how God has helped our little family. We actually sat down this evening in between my laundry and after homework and played several rounds of Connect 4. Little man loved that. Especially when he beat daddy. He loves his daddy. He was kind of sad on Sunday when he realized daddy had to go to Wilkesboro instead of to church with us. We'd have went with Shane but we were doing a special thing in Sunday School. Sis D makes it so much fun for the kids, but they retain it so well.

THis is Little Man's 8th day without his medicine to go to sleep. He has went to sleep around 8:30 or 9:00 every evening by himself. I am so glad.

Well, tomorrow is creeping on me ever so quickly. 6:15 comes awful early.

I have not been too good at keeping up my gilleon news. Times flies!!!!!!!!!! Never a dull moment around here.

yes, mommihood is DEFINITELY tough! *smiles* but just so you know, I think you are doing a FINE job!!! I am very thankful that we aren't having to deal with school stuff yet. I don't think I could do anything else right now!!! I forgot to mention on my blog, but it was really funny tonight when Munchkin got home, she came in, sat at her little desk and announced to me that she had to do her homework, like little man, and then commenced to pull out her color wonders and colored for about 20 minutes before she got up and told me she was finished with her homework and was going to play now! ROFL! It was hilarious!!!!
