Sleepless Saturday

I really thought I was gonna do some sleeping in this morning. Shane left for Tastee Freez and I couldn't sleep. So, why not get up and clean and get it over with. I got up, washed bed sheets, put others on, so I could have the pretty ones for ma and pa. They'll be here in one week. Yeeeeehhhh!! I am so excited. For one, mom is gonna help me put up a couple of my new home interior items that I got from my party. For two, they'll be here more than a week. For three, my brother Nate has never been to North Cacilacy. I am excited to show him and his family around.

Anyway, I got up and cleaned to my heart's content. Put up some glass stuff so "bouncer" can't break them. He is such a curious child. I guess because he has never had nice things. Such a rough childhood for such a little boy. I hope his life will make a definite change and maybe someday he'll receive Jesus. That would be an awesome experience. I doubt he even knows who Jesus is.

We need to purchase a booster seat, among a bunch of other stuff. Kids will make a definite change in your life. Wooooow!

Enough rambling. I can't keep on one subject. I went to town and made a trash run, and Salvation Army run. It's amazing the "Junk" 2 people can accumulate.

Well, laundry needs more attention, so off I go.
Have a wonderful Saturday.

hey girl,
i actually got to sleep in until almost 8....woohooo! *grin* Then KC unleashed the munchkin on the bed and there was no sleeping through THAT! Then I did about the same things that you were doing this morning. Speaking of that....and the many things one must have with kids (shooo...we were amazed ourselves), you need to add to your list: a plastic mattress protector for whatever bed the bouncer is going to be sleeping on, if you don't already have that taken care of....and if/when the sheets end up wet, we've been making him strip the bed and carry the sheets to the washer....natural consequences. The first time, we changed it, b/c of the trauma from transition...after that, when you make a mess, you're not going to be punished but you do have to deal with the consequences. Just some FYI for you. *grin* I think it's great that you guys are getting things all arranged for him. Sweet! Talk to you soon!
